Who we are

About SAMA

Welcome to the South Asia Management Association (SAMA), a dynamic organisation dedicated to promoting excellence in management and multidisciplinary practices throughout South Asia. Since our establishment in 1989, SAMA has rapidly become a premier platform for professionals, academics and industry leaders from various disciplines to collaborate, share insights and drive the advancement of management and interdisciplinary principles.

Our mission is to promote sustainable and inclusive growth by advancing knowledge, skills and ethical practice in management and related fields across South Asia. We are proud to be associated with the Research Foundation of India, as well as collaborators in Singapore, Nepal, Myanmar, China and Russia — reflecting our commitment to global collaboration and knowledge exchange.

SAMA is not limited to management alone; our focus extends to multiple disciplines, fostering a comprehensive, inclusive professional community. This multidisciplinary approach is strengthened through our partnership with Edwin Incorporation, which supports our diverse initiatives. We work to build a vibrant community for learning, innovation and collaboration — a holistic approach to professional development across the South Asian region.
